Citrine is a tricky quartz, where many will ask, “Is this natural Citrine?” When that question is asked, they are truly asking, “was this quartz heated by the earth as it was being created, or was it heated by man after it was removed from the ground?” Old Friend here is the later of those options, a decolorized amethyst through heating or baking the geode after it is removed from the ground. 

Vibrationally, this citrine is still a quartz. The yellow and orange tones will still support confidence, joy, and success.
